Senior Portraits: Fresh and Natural

Our best wishes go out to Mitchell as he continues to shine with his many abilities during his senior year at Skutt High School. From soccer and cross country to his handsome guitar, he stays active and well-rounded. This future civil engineer is certain to succeed!

As an artist it is so fun to create murals! The Cherry Blossom Tree that I created for Ella's room before she was born was the inspiration for her ten day old photo session. Rich raspberry, deep red, and pink to offset the beautiful Cay Blue wall color. Since the wall opposite the tree was blank I new it was the perfect spot for a large wall portrait of my baby princess cousin. I did the photo session right in her peaceful room with a small set up and utilized the soft North window light. Her portraits emulate the serenity that the tree creates.

6.14.10 7.14.10 8.14.10! The third baby born in our family this summer kept with the magic number of 14. Two little girl cousins were born on June 14th and July14th and our sweet little nephew was born on August 14th. Micah William Cosgrove is so adorable, sucking his little thumb or fist to find comfort. He is so tiny next to my two year old daughter who loved holding a real baby, and found herself getting the baby names mixed up since there are a handful of new ones in our family!

Ella Jane!

Our newest cousin is a baby princess! What a doll. Her big brother couldn't be any cuter as he gave his baby sis a squeeze. Love you all! Congratulations to Angela & Sham!

Penelope Joy!

Our brother and sister-in-law couldn't be any happier with their newest bundle of joy! Our newest niece, Penelope Joy is so dearly loved. We are so blessed.

The Sweetest Rose!

What a beautiful pair! Tom found the sweetest rose when he met and fell in love with Jaime. We love their bright, sparkling eyes as they smile and laugh together! Congratulations you two and enjoy the rest of your engagement!

A stroll down memory lane

Walking hand in hand down the dappled paths on the UNL campus seemed so natural for Steph and Eric.  They shared some of their favorite spots with us on a remarkably peaceful afternoon.  The soft light danced through the canopies and created a beautiful storybook setting for us to capture.   One of their most treasured memories will always be recalled under the shade of a beautiful set of trees where Eric asked Steph to marry him!  Even though it was cold and snow covered at the time, Steph probably didn't even notice after she saw "Marry me" written in the snow!  What a creative story to pass on... and there will be much more to come as the next chapter of their lives together is only beginning! 

Ripples of Laughter

What could be more attractive than the fun laughter of a woman in love? Laughter that lifts your spirit like a kite on a windy day and makes a million ripples dance on the water! How incredible and vivacious are Jess and Lucas together. Lucas casts Jess his winning smile as he spins her in circles and makes Jess laugh; we capture the moment as they capture our hearts! Sweet as the Spring Breeze

While a gentle spring breeze was blowing we captured Julie and Aaron together for their engagement. What a sweet couple with their genuine smiles and laughter that proved to be contagious! And no sooner had we finished when the clouds rolled in with a refreshing spring rain! Julie and Aaron, congratulations on the new season of your relationship!

And They Called It Puppy Love!

What fun we had capturing these gorgeous young hearts and their puppies! But, not just puppy love for these two! Ali and Matt, congratulations on your engagement! You are such a beautiful couple! We look forward to capturing more memories on your wedding day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there :) And especially to the beautiful Greta, mother of an incredibly precious son, Raiden Michael. Only three months old, and he has already shared in so much love.

We were honored to photograph Seth and Greta's wedding almost two years ago, and were thrilled to return to capture the new joy they have as parents. It will be an amazing journey to watch him grow, and dream of all the possibilities that life has in store for him.
